Artisan Furniture Multi-Tiered Telephone Table, Wood, Natural Oak Finish

Really pleased with this as I was slightly nervous as sometimes Mango wood has a deep yellowish tinge. This is described as 'oakish', not sure that is entirely true but it a lovely 'non yellow' pale-ish midbrown to grey shade with a lovely woodgrain.Looks just as pictured but as always the image featured has been selected for its pefect even and unflawed woodgrain and mango naturally has distinctive markings that may or may not enhance or detract from each piece. The disadvantage buying online is you don't get to see before you buy and choose the one with the markings that appeal.Sadly the natural grain feature on mine involved a very dark blackish mark rather than attractive whirl in the grain. Might of been okay elewhere on the piece but was positiond right on the front rim of the table top so unfortunarely looked like a cigarette burn (easily avoided if the top had been fitted on with it at the back...) Hence the dropped star.However,Steardy build in solid wood, lovely design in a well proportioned and compact size. Came with small metal handles which suit it well and look good. I swapped mine out for something more decorative but I may swap gem back again!Arrived promptly and securely packed, I've covered the dark bit I wasn't keen on with a peering mouse!
