Bat of the year
My 12 year old loves the bat. I was wondering if the drop 5 would be too heavy but he says it's perfect to swing. Really likes the larger barrel and hitting zone compared to the cat x he used last year. Has a really nice sound when the ball pops off. From a 12 year old perspective it doesn't have to be a perfect hit for the ball to go far. I would say he enjoys the hitting experience a bit more with this bat. As a mom the thing I'm concerned about is durability. I've been told by coaches the drop 5 bats are having the most issues with cracking. My son uses this as his game bad and uses the cat x as his practice bat now. I hear there is talk of the bat being banned in Little League next year. Not sure if it will be just the drop 5 like USSSA. For now my son is really enjoying the game and is super happy to have the bat. The cost is ridiculous though and at this age I'm not sure how nessasary it is. It's more of a cool thing and just fun to hit the ball far. It has the wow factor for sure. I think at least 1 kid of every team we have played has this bat.

Son is loving it
My son was so excited he cried when we gave him the bat. He got to work immediately with it and it delivers what was promised. Easy to swing with a great sweet spot adding more pop to his hits immediately. A great weight at its length "feels like swinging a feather" he stated.

Best Bat ever
My son is slamming homeruns and hitting like he has never hit before. Yes it is expensive but if your child is planning to play baseball it is a great investment! Amazing Bat!!

Hype Fire Bat!
This is a great bat. Has a nice pop to it. Very durable. His teammates has also been using his bat and have been having great hits with it.

Good bat
Great for kids my son has hit harder ever since we got it but it is very expensive

Best bat to build confidence
Switched my son to this bat and he's getting a lot more pop from it. Well balanced with a really nice sweet spot. Great for developing a batters confidence at the plate. I got a bit of longer bar for longevity in use, just added choke up rings.
