Visa $200 Gift Card (plus $6.95 Purchase Fee)

I’ve purchased multiple cards over the last year to give to my 16 year old daughter for gas, lunch, etc. so she doesn’t have to carry a large amount of cash.Every time the cards have worked just fine! I don’t understand why there are so many negative reviews, specifically related to paying at the pump or using the card online for a subscription service. If you follow the instructions and go online and register the card with his name, address and phone number you can use the card to pay at the pump. Even when I use my American Express Card to pay for gas at the pump, they require me to enter my ZIP Code for billing purposes as an extra step to verify the card is mine. So, if you go online to the website indicated on the back of the card, complete the registration process, you can use the card to pay at the pump by entering your ZIP Code.Secondly, the card can be used online with US merchant, but not for anything that would be billed on a regular basis, like a monthly subscription service that auto bills on the first of each month for example. If it’s a straight up online purchase it can be used just like a debit card.

I was really scared to order this product because of the mixed reviews, but since I’ve always had great experiences with amazon customer service I figured I’d take the risk. I’m happy I did, the package came and the gift card was in new condition, not ripped up or crumpled like some of the other reviews show. I checked the balance right away by calling the # on the back of the card and they told me $200 balance. I haven’t tried using it in store yet but I will update if I encounter any problems.UPDATE: I had no problems with the first card, so I ordered a second one. Also came in tact, activated and ready to use with a full balance!!!! Happy shopper! I will be ordering gift cards from amazon for all occasions now!!!UPDATE #2: I’ve now ordered 3 of these cards, all have come presentable and activated. I’ve used them in restaurants, online, and for gas and haven’t had any issues with them at all. If you’re weary about using your debit card while traveling these are the perfect solution. 10/10 recommend!!!!

I ordered 6 of these 200$ visa and they all worked good, it’s already activated ready for use I used all of them online and it’s perfect. I’ll order it again for sure. I bought 2 of these cards just to use for gas and extra things. I never had a problem. soon as I got them, I opened them up and I went to go use one just to make sure and everything worked great . They were ready to use right out of the holder. Will use again..

Came already activated and ready to use. I have prime so I received it with one day shipping. Be sure to read the restrictions in the description. I was using it for school supplies so I didn’t have issues but it may not be accepted by online stores.

Came on time - just as promised. Card came activated and ready to use. Registered my card on their website.Note that this card (just like any other gift card) will not work at the pump at a gas station... don’t blame the card, blame the gas station!!

Well.. its a gift card.. It had money on it at the time of delivery.. that is until I spent it all. its the size of a credit card and it fits in a standard wallet. Not sure what else to say about a gift card. It werks!

If you are buying this to buy gas, be prepared for it not to work at the pump. The whole reason I bought this card was to avoid using my credit card as I work on paying it off. I have gotten Vanilla Visa cards for years and used them for years to pay at the pump and never had a problem, even when the balance was low. It would just shut off when the money was used up. But I bought this new Visa gift card here at Amazon and tried to use it to get gas this afternoon. It was declined twice. This was a brand new $200 gift card at the same gas station I always use without any problem. Calling the number on the back of the card was worthless to try to find out what the problem is. I was told my balance, which I already knew, and nothing else. I guess I will be using my credit card to get gas and seeing if I can use this card to get groceries instead. Very disappointed. I DO NOT recommend this card. If I get another Visa gift card, it will be a Vanilla Visa again which I hadn't had a problem with in the past. I didn't realize that there are different Visa gift cards, so when I got this one from Amazon instead of Walmart, like I usually do, I didn't realize that this is a different Visa card that is temperamental.
