Sapphires are my birthstone and I love butterflies so these are perfect!!

I ordered these earrings as a gift for a friend who loves butterflies. They arrived in perfect condition and my friend loves them.

They are so light weight . I have had loads of compliments.

I absolutely loved these except for two things- (1) I wish instead of the hook clasp that it just hung freely or closed differently. At a certain angle you can feel the little hook point. (2) I happen to wear them all the time, and (2) I noticed that since I do have them on all the time, perhaps because of sweat or what have you, they are starting to lose their luster and the stem is tarnishing. The image may be hard to see but the stem has a reddish tarnish and the edge of the butterfly is turning a bit green. I didn’t expect them to be tarnish free necessarily, but I also didn’t expect them to start turning so quickly - I JUST left the return window days ago else I would return them. I did try before you buy and I kept them immediately - didn’t expect to want to return them. For now I’ll just try to wear them sparingly and put a moisture absorber with them to prevent further coloration. I still give it 4 stars because as I recall the seller didn’t promise that they would be okay with moisture. If they were cheaper I would give it 5 stars.

I purchased these earrings for a bride to wear at her wedding which is why it needed to be a specific color. When I received the earrings they were definitely blue whether in a dark room or in the sunlight. And they look a lot cheaper in person!

For the butterfly and it did not disappoint!

The blue stone came off one of the earrings in shipping. Simple to glue it back - but kinda disappointing to arrive broken and unwearable.
