Q: hello, are the vehicle ID parameters such as vin assignable?

My engineers are working with this device primarily, however I will attempt to address your question. the Parameter ID's that we work with are defined under 'SAE standard J/1979' and as such are not subject to modification. For example the VIN information is available by polling Mode 9 PID 02. We do modify the output once we have polled the data from the vehicle.
