Authentic Japanese Flavor – Perfect for Homemade Cooking
lived in Japan for many years, and this Miko Brand miso brings me right back to homemade Japanese flavors. It has a smooth texture and a rich, umami taste—perfect for making traditional miso soup, dressings, marinades, or even vegan recipes.I use it almost daily as a student because it’s easy to work with, lasts a long time, and gives any dish a truly authentic touch. I recommend keeping it sealed in the fridge to maintain freshness.A great choice if you want high-quality miso that tastes just like what you get in Japan.

Always have them on hand in the cupboard and at work.
Been buying these for years and always have a pack at home and at work for a quick breakfast or lunch when I'm not too hungry. I grew up on the Kikkoman powdered instant miso and these are superior. Good flavor and not too salty; I tend to add a little more water to dilute. I occasionally mix up my morning oatmeal & barley with fruit and yogurt for a cup of miso with oatmeal added and it's quite filling. Highly recommended.

Good flavor but a little weak. 6oz serving size
Each packet set (miso and garnish) make 6oz. Flavor was good but I felt a little weak. I use two sets and 8oz of water.

On the run? No time?? What's not to love? Miso packets with all nice, dried toppings too!
I was looking for broth tea bags when I found this product. I make my own broth weekly and have been sipping on miso every a.m. since my first trip outside the us to Japan in 1996 when I saw it served with the breakfast buffet. That was when I learned about the benefits of miso, the nutrients and electrolytes it contains and decided to make it part of my daily routine. Then life happened, loss of electricity, change of homes, travel ect and the nice slow a.m. time for sipping miso was gone. One day I bought two of these bags of instant miso that also come with all the little sides, bags of seaweed, dried tofu, onions ect. WOW! I started taking them everywhere and now I can't live without at least one bag of these emergency healthy cup of miso products, I highly recommend them. Learning to sit and sip something healthy is a great time out, for your mind, your body and as they say, healthy dog mommy, healthy life! So, check it out...try it if you enjoy miso. It is not my favorite miso white mild or dark red miso, but it is a nice instant alternative. When I say stop everything, it's time for a cup of miso or broth...it is my time and that is nice. If you make it important, it will be one of those small happy habits that gets you through those days when you feel you just need a minute to gather your courage to take the next step into whatever disaster or happy challenge awaits you, without losing your cookies.

warm & comforting on a chilly afternoon, super easy to make, use miso pouch & garnish pouch
I Love this Miko brand of instant miso soup. It is a slight change up from my usual beloved instant freeze dried miso from the same brand. This one has a variety of flavor options, and I like them all. Nice to make cup at a time. Plenty of flavor. Use as much or as little of water as you want.Be sure to use both the miso paste packet as well as the dry garnish packet. Put the two together with some hot water, and you have yourself a nice cup of miso. Delicious, warm, and comforting on a chilly afternoon

Great, but price has quadrupled since march
I’ve ordered this a few times now, the last time being in March. I love them for the ease of preparing them - you get individual packets of miso and dehydrated toppings that rehydrate easily with hot water, and they make for a great snack. These are also low sodium, which is handy when you’re trying to make better life decisions. I will not be buying these again though until the price comes down. I bought this for less than $8 in March of this year, and now they’re running over $30? That’s insane, and they aren’t worth that much. An alternative is to buy miso paste from the store and add your own toppings. Less convenient, but certainly a lot cheaper at this point.
