Excellent for northern Midwest winter use on 2004 Dodge Ram 2500.
Fits perfectly on passenger side of 2004 5.9L Cummins oil pan. Follow the installation instructions exactly and you will have no issues. The built-in thermostat is a nice feature. I also have a four-female to one-male plug adaptor so I can plug this heating grid, factory block heater (water jacket heater), and two aftermarket battery blankets in. Entire setup pulls less than 10A so no issues using the 15A garage outlet.

Didn’t work for a full week of intermittent use
I bought two Zerostart heating pads to winterize my rig. Neither of them lasted a week. Now it is -40° and I have to cause unnecessary wear and tear on my vehicle engine with every start. Past the return policy date and had to buy two more heating pads of a different brand. Stay away from anything by zerostart, total garbage.

66% Success Rate
I have used these products for years to heat hydraulic tanks, oil tanks, etc in cold PNW conditions. They usually work great. This last time around I bought 3, and only 2 of them continue to function. The third one is intermittent, requiring you to "wiggle" the thermostat to get it to work. This only lasts a few minutes before having to "wiggle" it again. I would like to get a replacement if the powers that be happen to see this review. Otherwise, when they work, they do the job!

Easy to use and works to keep that oil warm even on cold days.
This is perfect for cold winter starts.

Great heater, terrible adhesive.
From the testing I did after it fell off, this thing is a pretty good heater. Right power rating, temp ceiling works, seems rugged. But it just would NOT stick to my block, like at all! Followed the instructions to a t, did surface prep etc. Didn't even get through the 24hr curing period(where the car sat motionless the entire time) before it fell off.

Garbage.
Both of these particular heaters have already quit working. We ordered 7 of their products and of the 7 only 3 remain operational after only a month of using them. Not impressed with this brand and will never purchase it again.
