My niece loved this -- it does come with a pillow separate and you had to put the cover on it. The back of the pillow is a suede/microfiber feel, very soft. The front is just as pictured. I sort of want one for myself!

We purchased this for a 7 yr old girl on her birthday and while she received a bunch of gifts this was obviously a fav. Wonderful buy.

This pillow is perfect for any unicorn lover. The colors are magically perfect. The young recipient was thrilled.
