WORKS WELL IF YOU FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AND ARE PATIENT !
With the withdrawal of rooting powders that had a high percentage of fungicide (allegedly carcinogenic or unhealthy) there are not many alternatives if, like me, you are an avid propagator (and rescuer !!) of all sorts of plants. I've found the results using this seaweed-based rooting powder to be on a par with the previous types - but it is down to FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS AND BEING PATIENT. I've found the results to be around the same as with the old hormone/fungicide-based products (like the old stuff not EVERY cutting/offset will root) and I use it all-year-round (winter = gentle bottom heat as necessary). Proportionally you do have to use more so I suppose it might work out a little more expensive per cutting - buy, hey, it's not that pricey anyway and I buy a 6-pack for a better deal.
