Butler Soy Curls, 8 oz. Bags (Pack of 3)

These are FABULOUS!!!!! So many delicious recipes for them, and they can be subbed for tofu or seitan in virtually any recipe. They soak up sauce or seasoning like a dream. They are delicious and nutritious and versatile.

I was only recently introduced to Butler Soy Curls. But after trying them once, I could imagine the wonderful possibilities that they could bring to a healthy, tasty plant based diet.They provide a little more plant-based fat and a big protein boost at low calories. They are fantastic in soups, stews or air-fried after re-hydrating.This bulk quantity that requires no refrigeration is food security for the pantry.It arrived on time and exactly as described in good packaging. It’s a great value for high quality, unadulterated food.I highly recommend it.

Very easy to make! Soak in warm water about 20 minutes, squeeze out as much water as you can. Can be fried, deep fried, baked, whatever. They are awesome for substituting for chicken in a dish. I love them in Asian dishes. Texture is very appealing. Takes on whatever flavors you have in the meal. I have soaked more than I needed in the past and just kept the leftover in a plastic bag in the fridge and used it within a few days and it was perfect and it was nice to be able to skip the soaking stage!

This was the first time I tried these and oh my gosh they’re wonderful. I like that they’re big chunks and they do replicate chicken. It’s a little hard to squeeze them out, but I like that they’re not defatted and basically if I’m more natural state of soy, I wish the company would tell a little more information whether it’s organic or Non gmo.. where it’s made ect. I use these to make a chicken salad that is out of this world. Using the recipe on the butler website.

These are so amazing I wanted to write a quick review! I’ve been eating plant based for 3 years now and I have just discovered Butler soy curls - they taste like any meat you want them to really, and they don’t have that artificial faux meat taste like some other products . Truly amazing, I eat them all the time . Highly recommend! My only complaint THE FLIMSY PACKAGING IS TERRIBLE! I really like this product- but because of the way it is packaged in these thin bags and then bundled in another bag.. you lose a fair amount of the soy curls into crumbs .This is not great.. I mean.. This product should either be in a box or a better bag ..

These soy curls are great! Muh like tofu, they are versatile and virtually tasteless, but as opposed to tofu, these seem to soak up the flavors a lot easier than tofu, not to mention easier to handle. Coat them in oil, whatever seasonings or sauces/marinades you prefer (after rehydrating them of course) and walla- bake em, fry em, (put em in a stew), and you've got some tasty "chicken!" My favorite is coating them in oil, throwing them in a bowl and tossing it with general tso's sauce and air frying them for 10 or so minutes at 360F and it glazes over perfectly. We also use them frequently for "chicken" fajitas. Vegan or not, these are fantastic if you're looking for meat alternatives.

I'm likely one of the pickiest eaters you would ever met. My vegan bff wouldn't stop raving about these. I bought 3 bags with very low expectations. I have never been so wrong about a food product. I sauteed them in some homemade BBQ sauce and they were so delicious. Both my partner and I loved them. We were particularly impressed with the mouth feel. I will definitely be buying more.
