Perfect size
It's a huge kadai at this priceIt does rust after wash but if u apply oil and keep it till nest use, it's perfect. The vegetables don't stick at bottom as it's thick enough for roasting.

I think not 100% Iron.
I was very happy with the product at first, but at later on using we hv observed that it emits a pungent smell which is not of iron and it always turns to orange colour(not rust) with in few minutes after a wash. Im afraid if it is not made of pure iron and it may even cause serious health issues.

STAINING AND RUST PROBLEMS
The size and sturdiness are good. But the material used is not very good. It stains easily on use and the stains are hard to clean. Also despite giving a coat of oil after cleaning, rusting still takes place which, again, is hard to clean.

This kadhai will work good for a family of four. It is not coated, hence you can wash and start using immediately. I have been using it regularly since I bought it, it is good. For Rs. 380 it is really value for money. It seasons well with use. But if this is your first iron cookware, please please google how to maintain it before you use. I use groundnut oil to season. Don't forget to season your kadhai after every use, you'll find it gets for better the nextuse. Also don't be in a hurry to use sour agents like tomatoes, curd etc till it seasons well.Deducing one star because someone had scratched off some label with a sharp object leaving a patch of scratches.

It get rust so easily. Black and red patch all over it after washing
Pic I uploaded was when it came to me. And then I washed it once and later I saw so many black and orange/reddish patches on it everywhere. I didn't take that pic. Just 4 days old and I could not even wash it so didn't use to cook. Got fearful of health if the utensil is so reactive .

Nice product
I have used once....... I liked it.......... My purpose for buying this kadai is fulfilled.I use it for deep fries and preparing everything other than tamarind or tomato based curries. Price is reasonableIt is a very good kadhai made from heavy gauge iron. After seasoning it properly with mustard oil, it is behaving just like non-stick. But one needs to take good care of all iron utensils. After washing, never leave it wet, always wipe it dry properly with a cloth.
