I bought this based on other people's reviews, so I thought I'd leave one of my own. Background: a few years ago I decided I was tired of covering my skin with makeup and got into K beauty. I experimented, mixed and matched- my skin really improved. More even toned, better texture, clear. But there were a few things I just couldn't figure out how to fix: super oily skin (like I was uncomfortable by the end of day because I could FEEL how oily I was.) Large pores. Blackheads in my nose that just wouldn't go away. I decided to try Paula's Choice based on their reviews and that brand DESTROYED everything I had accomplished. I tried two different sets thinking maybe the first one just wasn't the right one for me (they have such high reviews!). The Resist line made me even more oily, which I thought was impossible. It somehow made my skin dry at the same time? Like I could see my face and neck pulling in a weird way when I moved. Hard to describe. I got pimples all over my face and neck. It wasn't purging, I had great skin before with a detailed K beauty regimen. I tried the Clear line and it got rid of all of the pimples but basically because it burned them off. I had chemical burns so bad my neck swelled and I looked like a frog. I was itchy and uncomfortable. It looked like bruises formed on different parts of my face too? Crazy. I went back to my normal K beauty routine and my weird dry skin sloughed off like a snake the first wash. It immediately felt better, moisturized, soft, all of the discomfort Paula's Choice had caused was gone. It took a week for the burns and swelling to go down though, along with hydrocortisone cream. I resigned myself to accepting my remaining issues because it was still the best skin had I ever had, and maybe it's the best my skin was capable of. This brand popped up on Amazon one day and I don't know why Paula's Choice didn't terrify me out of trying something new, but people's reviews and the price caught me. This set along with the retinol and hyaluronic acid serums has reduced my oiliness significantly. I don't feel desperate to wash my face right after work. My pores are smaller and my blackheads are disappearing. My skin is soft, even, blemish free. My under eyes look tighter and brighter. I have a Korean sunscreen that I love that has soothing calamine in it which also brightens (not whitens) your complexion (Prem is the brand), and now that is all I have to use on my face. Sunscreen, lipstick, mascara and I looked put together for the office. I'm in love, please never discontinue these products or raise the price crazy. I will buy these forever.

I had a severe allergic reaction to a well know drug store brand moisturizer. Nothing seemed to help and I was using hydrocortisone cream every day to relieve the itching.I had been watching videos on YouTube and a dermatologist suggested retinaldehyde. I had used retinol in the past but it was too intense for my sensitive skin.I searched on Amazon and came across this line of products and decided I had nothing to lose. Initially I only ordered the 3 serum set but after a dramatic improvement in just 2 days, I ordered the complete vitamin c set as well as the mask and scrub.Typically I have combo/oily skin with some redness and light acne. After 40, my skin has been drying out a bit. In just days, my face has calmed down, acne has almost disappeared and my pores are clearer. My face is more balanced and less red. I have not worn any makeup in a week and my face is glowing.It does take a bit of time to apply the whole system twice a day but it's completely worth it.I start with the vitamin c cleanser and toner, followed by vitamin c serum, Niacinimide serum, retinol (every other evening), hyaluronic acid, vitamin c eye and face moisturizers.This set is well priced and I will be purchasing again

I only just got the product, but at the first usage I can feel the difference on my face, and see myself glow. unfortunately, I didn't know the type of skin I had (which was oily). I deff recommend for the non oily ones out there, and I'm kinda sad i won't be able to buy again because the only issue I have is the reaction it has with my oily face. Love it tho ❤️

I love how it makes my skin feel. the cleanser is my favorite, it works so well. the lotion isn't as hydrating as I wanted it to be, it feels like it dries my skin more that moisturizing it. I have extremely sensitive and itchy skin and the products don't bother my skin at all except the lotion stings a bit if my skin is enflammed but it stops after a second. its not a painful feeling its like a bit of refreshing kind of sting. if you have extremely sensitive skin i wouldn't recommend the lotion but the rest should be fine.the scent is refreshing except the cleanser it smells a bit strange when putting it on but after you wash it off its fine. the lotion has the strongest sent but its not too bad. im sensitive to smells but it doesn't bother me much, its also pretty thick feeling its not too bad but if you want a light lotion/moisturizer this isn't too light its like medium. the rest of the products work well and don't bother my sensitive skin.

First picture was taken at Christmas. The second picture taken today. I’m soon to be 55. I don’t have a bunch of wrinkles on lines but they have started this past year more and I’m horrible at doing a skin care routine. I have tried literally everything from oil of Olay, Mary Kay, Avon este lauder, arbonne, Clinique, limelife to plexus. Some I couldn’t use at all because they broke me out. Some were nice but through the years I just didn’t see a difference in spending the money. I went out on a limb and decided to try tree of life I’ve only used it for two days and I have already seen a difference. I have to stick to the routine and seeing a difference in such a short time I feel like I Will definitely keep it up! All the products I bought I can fly with in my carry on which is a plus! For those that complained it’s sticky. There’s very little you need so if you use it and your skin is sticky back down on the amount. It like a small dab that’s it. And it should last a long time. I’m definitely sold on this product!

I really love this vitamin C serum! It feels super soft and lightweight on my skin, which makes it perfect for daily use. They recently changed the applicator, and it’s much easier to use now. Since I need about three drops per application and use it twice a day, it runs out in about a month. But honestly, for the price, I don’t mind at all. It’s a great deal for the quality.
