Was missing the full height slot bracket and screws to secure the ssds, was able to make it work in spite of the issues. Speeds were excellent though.Edit: Seller contacted me and offered to fix my issue, system i had picked this up for had already been shipped to customer, luckily i was able to modify a full height slot plate from a different card to work with this one so i didn't need them to do anything, but they did respond quickly and offered to fix the issue.

decently priced, does as advertised. As mentioned by the seller and multiple other reviews you need to enable bifuraction on the chipset for the pci slot. This can be a scary / tricky process for those not familiar with chipset options in bios (note not all motherboards support this).Thankfully on my supermicro X10SRM-F motherboard it does. I use this motherobard for a nas, and this product is to place 2 nvme drives on a single slot and use software raid (zfs) mirror for some high io applications and vms.For anyone else that has a supermicro X10SRM-F motherboard the process is as follows.1. go into bios2. Chipset Configuration3. North Bridge4. IIO1 Configuration5. (select your pci slot this product is in)6. change from auto to something like 4x4, etc.7. save and reboot.

I was able to get PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds with both of my drives and was able to boot from it (X570). I think the M.2 slots are tad too close to each other and most heatsinks will probably conflict with each other when using 2 of them. If your using 1 proper heatsink and a 1 rubber band heatsink, you'll probably be fine. The M.2 stand cuts for the M.2 to attach have a large gap, which means it'll move slightly up and down when fully screwed down. Some heatsinks (Like the Sabrent Rocket) don't have this movement problem. I wish Glotrends would make a proper heatsink version of this card like what they do with their 1 drive cards. I do like how it comes with a low profile bracket, which is perfect for cases like that one Lian case with the vertical GPU. It does the job and its a good price. Will update if I have any problems, I currently don't see any in Event Viewer.

I used this to install 2 NVME drives to use as a zfs mirror for a proxmox boot drive. Basically, I put them in software raid. Unfortunately, this PCI-e card caused a lot of data errors and corruption. It took me a while to narrow done the cause of the corruption (new build with secondhand parts, lots of components to test). Ultimately, I figured out this card was the issue by replacing it with a supermicro NVME adapter which has been running successfully for a couple weeks with no errors.I reached out to the seller 5 days ago via their support website amazon linked me to but I have not heard back. Hopefully they can update the firmware but as of now I cannot recommend this device as it will corrupt your data (which may take a long time to notice).

So they say x8x4x4 doesn't work in the description, but it does work in my Gigabyte Aorus Master X570 1.0. It does need to be set manually, but I have 2 nvme drives and the OS sees both. I have it in PCIe slot 2 and a GPU in slot 1.

As stated, does not work with H13SSL-NT motherboard, even with bifurcation set to either x4x4x4x4 or x4x4x8. Only one drive is visible to the OS. Device was plugged into PCIe x16 slot 5 which maps to CPU Group P3. I had 2x Sabrent Rocket 5s plugged into the device but only one was visible to the OS.Pros: does fit in a 2U chassis with the adapter

With the older bios on X10SRH-CLN4F the bifurcation was broken, the drives in the adapter would show up but Linux would panic and crash randomly. After updating the bios the adapter/bifurcation became stable and worked great.

Device worked once I popped it into the pcie x8 slot and enabled bifurcation and set to X4 X4. No complaints so far. Now I get 2GB/s write speeds from my nvme SSD!!!!
