Look, I haven't had to use Bleed Stop yet—and honestly, I hope it stays that way. But just knowing this little packet of powdered magic is sitting in my first aid kit like a seasoned bar bouncer, ready to stop bleeding in seconds, gives me a weird sense of comfort. Like carrying a fire extinguisher into a fireworks warehouse: you pray you won’t need it, but if things go sideways, you’ll look like a genius instead of a statistic.The packaging screams, “I fix messes,” and I believe it. The powder is supposed to clot blood like a pro-level medic with a stopwatch, which is a huge relief since my first response to blood is to panic and yell for paper towels. Bleed Stop doesn’t flinch. It doesn’t cry. It just gets the job done (allegedly—I’m still waiting on a real-life bloodbath to confirm).I keep a few packets in the glove box, one in my hiking bag, and another in the junk drawer next to expired batteries and mysterious screws. If anyone in my house ever decides to run with scissors, we’re ready for the fallout.Bottom line: I haven’t used it yet, but I feel like a survivalist overlord just owning it. If Bleed Stop works half as well as it claims, I’ll be patching up wounds like a back-alley medic in a post-apocalyptic movie. 5 stars for peace of mind, and for making me feel just a little more dangerous in a Dad kind of way.

Thank Goodness I haven't had to use these yet -- but I think it's essential to have at least one box around in any situation that might require bleeding control. Because it's not cumbersome, because it's reasonably priced and divided into small, single-use packets, this is just what I wanted.This stuff was invented for battlefield and EMT use a couple of decades ago; I originally became aware of it when I saw it on a network newscast. Many lives and limbs have been saved using it.I would definitely NOT call myself a "prepper:" but that doesn't mean that I'm not self-sufficient, or that I do not keep up-to-date and complete first aid kits in my vehicle, my shop, and my home. So, I've been waiting for someone to offer this first aid element "BY ITSELF" -- reasonably and without a bunch of first aid gear and supplies I already have in my emergency kits.This fits the bill -- glad somebody packages and sells it in this configuration.

I have personal experience with this product, in a very scary situation.I accidentally received a deep cut to my upper leg, with nobody else around to help me. No need to get graphic here, but let me say I was bleeding profusely. Direct pressure was not stopping the flow.In my first aid kit, I had the BleedStop powder. I tore open the envelope, applied the powder, and put a sterile gauze pad over the wound.Honestly, I believe it only took about 5 seconds to stop the bleeding... I had it under control.Then I used some first aid tape to hold everything in place.The BleedStop didn't cause any pain, no heat, nothing but effective control.I will have this in my first aid kits for the rest of my life.

I use blood thinners. It took me 3 times as long to stop bleeding than a person who was not on blood thinners. Now I take about as long or less time as a person not on blood thinners to stop bleeding.

This stuff REALLY WORKS and FAST!! I am just so thankful it did because my significant other suffered a very deep laceration to his hand. I will be buying more. 5 🌟's and I do not give out 5 stars often.

I can't rate it as I haven't needed it yet, & sure hope I never do but... I never knew this existed but it seems like a good idea for those of us on blood thinners

I've had some good gashes. This has helped stop the flow of blood. Handy to have on hand.
