Hozelock markets a variety of garden spray guns of varying complexity and features and this HZ2676P0000 type is a smaller, stripped-down variant.It’s made almost 100% from hard plastic, with no metal parts (the tap & hose connector has a rubber washer). It has six options of water delivery, from a standard tap-stream to a fine mist, which are selected by rotating the mechanism through click-stops. You may lock the trigger and it will continue to spray until you squeeze again to unlock it.Because this model is smaller overall, it does not have the power and water delivery volume of the larger sizes on offer from this supplier. Also, there are no hose connectors in the package so you will need to buy those separately.Several reviewers complain that the product doesn’t last and sooner or later will leak. This is true, and it’s especially vulnerable to low temperatures and frost, when ice can force the plastic to expand and crack it; the only way you can prevent this is to disconnect the spray gun and take it indoors when cold temps are forecast, or at the very least ensure the hose is not left full of water after use, which is then liable to freeze. Of course, you need to be vigilant and remember to do this.

excellent product, with plenty of various spray settings

I just wonder if anyone else has experienced this spray gun cracking every single year. Not sure if the frost is to blame ? but I have had to replace it every single year. Great spray though. Love it. Hence me keep buying a new one every year. 🙄

The spray gun dripped from day one - but that was ok - its just a drip! But I'd only been using the spray gun for just over 2 weeks and now there is a split down the handle and water is just spraying out, so its useless unless i want a cold shower at the same timeThere's no easy way to contact Hozelock via Amazon and the Hozelock page it directs you too is rubbish. The Amazon help just wants me to repair it.Will try a cheaper version and hope its better.Would have sent a photo but don't fancy a cold shower right now.

I'd bought one of these a few years ago and was still working right up until my dog decided that it needed to be bitten into pieces.Needless to say i bought a new one as they are well worth the money and a lot cheaper on here that your local garden centre
