Illuminating
They do exactly what I needed them for - providing illumination at the speed of light. The colour is a warmish white. They're 6 watt bulbs, so much more energy efficient, using a fraction of the power of the old bulbs that were in the lamp before these.

Limited longevity
The Bulbs seem decent quality, but unfortunately I have now had to order another pack ( of 6) to replace 2 bulbs that have failed after only 20 months. These are used in a bedroom as the main centre ceiling light, and are very rarely switched on ( usually only bedside lights are used) , and have therefore had very little "ON" time. - If they continue to fail at this rate, I'll need to find another source of supply.
