I have two dogs and that mysterious third dog, you know the one that is the pet hair all over the floor every few days. This is my third attempt at a cordless vacuum, the other two I purchased would clog every few minutes during vacuuming. I have a small house (1,100 square feet) and was spending too much time during vacuuming unclogging the pet hair from the vacuum. Decided to try one more time to see if I can get a cordless vacuum that can make it through the entire house without clogging... and this is the one! I'm so happy with this vacuum, it's working great and saving time since I only need to empty it one time after vacuuming and it is not clogging with pet hair like the last two.

I did a lot of research before making this purchase. My main level is primarily hard surface, which is what I bought this for. Our master bedroom is carpeted and this weekend I wanted to vacuum under the bed. The wand twists and allows you to reach as far as you can extend your arm. The clearance is literally 3-4 inches so I was able to reach everything without removing the box spring. I had to empty the canister several times and was very impressed with what it picked up. I can't believe I almost considered paying three times as much for something comparable. I highly recommend.

I had a previous Bissell cordless vacuum that looks very similar to this one, without the self cleaning/charging stand. This vacuum beats it in several ways: it's much more powerful (high power is basically 2x the power of my old one, whose power is medium on this one); it works better on carpet; the charging stand is very convenient and the self-cleaning feature is slightly gimmicky and yet I love it. I now am happy to vacuum very regularly even though this vacuum is not really powerful enough to clean carpet - it's better to do something a lot than a bigger thing not often enough.Minor issues: the handle gets warm on full power (it seems the power for the motor runs through the handle); the power head is a bit too low to the ground so slightly larger objects and crumbs tend to not get sucked into it; grit and small hard things tend to get stuck in the power head and make a lot of noise until you remove them; the charging stand feels very cheaply plastic.Major issues: there really aren't any. Okay, maybe there's just a few slightly more than minor issues. The attachments tend to fall off the charging stand. You can't put the vacuum on the charging stand without having the extension tube and power head attached to it; it tends to wobble around. Maybe the only thing that really bugs me when it happens is that the self-cleaning charging stand is not automatic; you have to push a button after settling the unit onto it, and it runs for a few seconds and then turns off. The reason this is a problem is that if you put the vacuum on the stand and then take it off, there's a door on the dust cup that is opened by placing it on the stand and normally the door closes magnetically and is sucked shut when the vacuum is being used. If you don't run the self cleaning cycle, the material that fell out of the dust cup will keep the door open, and when you pick the vacuum off the stand, all the contents of the dust cup fall out all over the charging stand.I would like the charging stand to automatically run a cycle if you set the vacuum in it.

Finally found the exact cordless vacuum I've been lacking. I had a hand vac for small areas and a heavy duty Dyson that is good but the stick attachment broke and it's not cordless which is a hassle to replug to reach farther. Hand vac charging conked out. I ordered a bunch of rejects mostly made in China that all did not last. Returned unknown brands that just weren't well made. This one, Eureka! Made in the US. Makes vacuuming fun if that's possible. It swivels easily and so light weight. Goes under furniture. It holds a charge. Very happy to make cleaning a tolerable job.

After installing laminate flooring and putting down an area rug, this is just what we needed. Our old Kirby had too much suction and literally sucked the carpet off the floor. Damn near had to do a Himelic maneuver to get it to release.This vacuum is perfect for hard floors and light carpets. It assembles easily and is light and manuverable. The supplied attachments are fine. No long hoses needed, the vacuum easily converts to shorter for working in small areas or on steps. The long tube can be used for hard to reach areas.It came partially charged but the instructions say to charge prior to first use. After charging I tested it out and this little vacuum did a great job. So far I'm pleased with this item and would recommend it to others. It comes with a two year warranty so we'll see how it holds up over time.

The vacuum itself is great as it fits all my family needs and I love that it is cordless!! It literally gets under beds, and versatile in direction! However, after 7 months of use the vacuum turns off by itself and i believe the battery is overheating!! Soon as you turn it on it turns off after sitting on charger alllllllll night! So Eureka did mail me a refund but now I have to buy a new vacuum! They could’ve just replaced the vacuum but okay!
