this lock is a great addition to my homes security. the self lock is great if you have kids who forget to lock the door. also the fingerprint works great unless its raining. the touch pad works great and make my door look great. this has good battery life and has an option to use a key if the battery dies. definitely worth the money

Really happy with this smart lock! It’s easy to use, looks sleek, and I love not having to carry keys around anymore. Setup was quick and the app and bluetooth connection works great. Feels secure and makes getting in and out way easier!

We installed this Philips smart lock back in November 2024, and after six months of daily use, it’s been a mostly positive experience. The lock itself is reliable and the battery life is impressive—still running strong on the original set of batteries six months in.The fingerprint reader is quick and convenient, but works best with dry fingers. If your hand is damp, you might have to try more than once. For locking up when leaving, you can either trust the auto-lock (which can be a little inconsistent) or press and hold any number on the keypad to lock it manually, no need to punch in a PIN to lock it.It does have a physical key option with a hidden keyhole, which is a nice backup to have just in case.Now for the downsides: the app experience really needs improvement. It frequently logs itself out, which is frustrating—especially when you need access in a hurry. That said, the app does make it simple to assign permanent or temporary PINs, which is super helpful for giving access to guests or service people.As for Google Home integration... it's hit or miss. Sometimes it links and works perfectly. Other times, Google Home acts like it's never seen the device before and you have to relink everything from scratch. It’s unpredictable and a little annoying.The auto-lock feature could also use some fine-tuning. It occasionally locks itself while we’re still home, seemingly without reason. Thankfully, we haven’t had any instances of it unlocking on its own.Bottom line: the hardware is solid, the core functionality is dependable, and it absolutely adds convenience to our home. Once the app and smart home integration are polished up, this could be one of the better smart locks on the market.

I have only had this lock for about a week now, but so far it has been the best smart lock we've had! The previous one we had died quite frequently and I was changing the batteries in it 1-2 times a month...4 AAA batteries a month is insane! So I bought another "high end" brand to replace it and it was just the WORST. So here we are lock #3 and I finally feel some satisfaction!-Installation is EXTREMELY easy and fast!-The battery life seems to be pretty good, but I will update if that changes.-App setup is easy and the app functions well-The lock itself looks sleek and modern-The lock responds pretty fast any way you unlock itI love this lock so far, hoping it holds up to the test of time!! Again, I will update if anything changes!

The fingerprint scanner NEVER works. The auto lock function doesn’t work how they say it will and ends up damaging your door. There’s a small proximity sensor you (drill a hole) install in your door jamb and that is supposed to tell the lock when to engage. Instead, the bolt extends in a timer, so it frequently happens while the door is open and when you go to close the door, the bolt slams into the door casing and damages it.The keypad code function works fine. I’m very annoyed because you can buy a much cheaper lock that has a code and works on a timer. I paid more for features that never work on this piece of junk.

Multiple ways (key, combinations, fingerprint, and via WiFi using app) to unlock your door. Battery level indicator. Well-made and well thought-out. If you want a top-of-the-line electronic lock, this is the one.

It took a a while to set everything up but it was super easy, barely an inconvenience.Things to consider:1. You will need the wifi hub (Looks like an outlet) for the smart features to work with Google or Alexa.2. Once you sync your Philips account to you Google or Amazon account you will have to use the pin found under the voice settings (you can change this)The installation was easy, it looks great, and easy to see in the even in the sun.
