Best dot sight of all that I tried
I ran the whole circuit with all the major brands for a micro dot for my p365 and Osight pulled out far and away ahead of the competition. Very sharp and defined dot. Rechargeable with a charging cover that is good for countless charges. My favorite feature is there is a lens on the back of the halo enclosing the lens so all your glass front and back is easy to clean therefore always clean Quickly purchased a second one for my wife’s p365 as well.

Works great for practical shooting or defense.
I have long been the guy who gets tormented by the other guys in my squad for using OLight lights on my firearms and have yet to have been given a reason, by them or the products themselves, to stop and pay 4 times as much for a surefire. So when I saw OLight made a red dot I had to try it out.It works great. I mounted it on my Echelon using the factory RMR pins with no issues and it's rock solid. Zeroed @ 25m with less than 15 rounds and held for about 300 rounds no problem so far. The charging case is convenient and easy to use, shake awake works great, and the window is HUGE, like SRO or CMore huge. Some folks like that, some don't, but I think it gets me on target faster while competing. I normally run an EOTech EFLX on the Echelon but I think the OLight is going to stay on there for a while, at least to see how it holds up after a couple of months and a few thousand rounds. I did drop the gun on concrete with the sight on it already and it didn't have any issues.UPDATE: 6/5/25 Still running on my Echelon with zero issues after a thousand plus rounds. Haven’t had to charge the cover still and rarely have to even put it in the red dot. Solid buy for sure if you’re not a hardcore tactical LARPer and want the Trijicon or Aimpoint cred.

Rechargeable red dot
This is a brilliant idea. A rechargeable red dot at a great price. It comes with 4 different screw sizes with 2 lengths for each size (essential as I needed 2 different sizes - one for a plate and one for the dot onto the plate). The charging cover is magnetic and seals the dot preventing solvents and oils from fogging the dot when cleaning the gun. The dot is small and precise. I did not find the auto brightness adjustment bright enough but the buttons were easy to press and I found a brightness I liked. Mounted on a Walther pdp it needed no adjustment and I shot 2 inch groups with 3 out of 10 bullseyes at ten yards. I am 75 years old. Just buy it!

Didn’t work
I got this on Black Friday 45% off and was super excited because, what a deal. I was looking forward to putting it on my Glock to complete my setup, but after charging it overnight as per instructions, I took it to my gunsmith for installation and it wouldn’t turn on. Fresh out the box and it won’t turn on. The charging box works, the package itself is nice, the red dot itself feels like quality but it just won’t turn on. I’m past the process of troubleshooting and probably going to end up sending it to the manufacturer. Kind of a bummer. Looks good, doesn’t work.

Large window, clear glass
Includes all necessary tools and parts.Easy direct mount to my FNX.Has no alignment lugs, relies only on the screws.I've yet to get some range time to test the hold. Will update once I do.Simple to adjust; not too stiff, nice tactile clicks.Looks great; nice big window that's not too much. The charging system is a great setup.Seems to be working well. Will update after long term use.

More than worth it.
Have used the Osight for 7 months now, and have put it through a monster of tests. The dot has come through with flying colors (green) and no issues. It has lasted several 3-day courses during bright sunlight and on almost max brightness with battery to spare. It has some nicks and scratches from the abuse, but has held zero, has not needed to be re-tightened or has ever died on me. I have over 9k rounds with it and if I ever need another dot, it will be in the running for sure.

Fits the footprint, advertise, and charges and display as well
This is worked well as all of my old light, red dots and lights with lasers do. The battery life have to recharge seems acceptable. The form factor is a little tall, but it does charge with a cover that magnetically attaches over the top of the red dot. That would be my only con is the height of the optic form factor. Otherwise it seems to work well. The price is a little high for what you get as these are not the super high-end Optics and I can’t attest to their durability.

Realistic review for all
So, I rated this not for me but for the people who want an honest unbiased review. With my shooting experience my biggest thing is durability. So, I put this thing through satans obstacle course for just that. Now I will say $140 bucks down the drain because it did not last 4 days. I love the concept and the versatility to charge. However, it does NOT hold the zero nor did it withstand 2000 rounds in 4 days. However, for the price and depending on if you are a home defense type of person who will really only use your weapon in case of a situation as such or a very rare shooter recreationally then, THIS PRODUCT IS FOR YOU. It gets you in the realm of trying new things and really stepping outside the iron sights realm of things to have a little more fun with customizability. So again I will say for frequent experienced shooters NO, for beginners and home defenders product should be amazing for you. I hope this helps.
