gave one to my mom as a present so i had to buy a second one for myself.It is a bit rattly but some foam will fix that if you're not averse to tinkering with your devices. The lack of wifi is a bummer but for such a small handheld that can do so much this one is great.Stay away if you have large hands. It's quite tiny.

It is an emulator device. It does need ROMS added manually. They likely don't include many ROMS due to legal reasons. But the kids loved these as stocking stuffers!

This isn't their fault. It works, but it just hurts my eyes to look at the screen. Can't play it.

I got this for my grandson to have something to do in the car as we live out of town. He is good with electronics but I think this was just too much for him. My adult children all thought it was great except several games would not load.

This retro handheld game brings back so much memories of my childhood at the arcade. This little unit has so many old games loaded that I will probably never play them all. This unit is small, probably the size of a old candy bar style cell phone of the 80's. It's the perfect size to carry in your pocket and have it with you all the time.According the box and the unit itself, it's a Anbernic RG28XX. The unit itself feels solid. The plastic and all the buttons feels very high quality. It comes with a 64GB TF card with all the games loaded on it. This is my first experience with this type of retro handheld game console and I love it. It so much fun to be able to just pull this out of my pocket and play a quick game.The only issues I came across is that the technical specification in the description on the listing states that it supports wireless 2.4G and wired controller, but there is no mention of how this is done. I'm guessing it requires a OTG adapter.One thing to be aware that the screen is pretty small, 2.83" to be exact. So if you have problem with your near sight, you might have a problem seeing what's on the screen. You can image the text and graphics is very small. I tried playing Resident Evil and I can barely see what I'm doing. Simpler graphics games are fine.

This is definitely a system aimed for people with smaller hands. I don't have banana hands by any stretch, but it makes me feel like a giant while i'm holding it. That said, it runs well and I haven't run into any major game playback issues. The screen in bright and clear, I even popped a few 480p videos on there and at this scale they look HD. Lot's of games to choose from and the 16 bit stuff looks especially stunning.
