Excellent value
This review is 3 months since I applied the ceramic coating on a 2015 Focus ST. I've been detailing cars for over 10 years and only just decided to finally try a "real" ceramic coating. As this is my first ceramic coating I can't compare to any other product out there but I will say I am extremely impressed with the gloss and durability of this product after 3 months of daily driver use on a non garaged car. I have used many sealants, hybrid ceramic waxes, synthetic waxes, seal and shine, ect. and there is nothing that compares to the durability and retention of gloss you get with this product.I wasn't expecting much from the low price but I couldn't be happier with the results. That said, I prepared the surface of the car EXTREMELY well before application. This included wet sanding the entire car, cutting compound, polishing compound, and a glaze to completely level out the clearcoat in preparation for the ceramic coating. This is definitely NOT a typical way of preparing your paint before applying a ceramic coating but the car I was working on had heavy damage from hard water spots from being parked by a sprinkler system over a long period of time as well as typical imperfections of a 5 year old daily driver. Note: do not attempt this level of paint correction without a paint gauge! Also, before applying the coating I touched up all the stone chips with color matched paint so that the car looked as good as possible after this 5 year refresh. This is not a wipe on / wipe off product (nor are any true ceramic coatings) but I can certainly say that with proper preparation and application this affordable ceramic coating is an amazing value for the protection, shine, gloss, and durability you will get for your hard work.I was also pleasantly surprised that applying this ceramic coating over the exterior plastic trim rejuvenated the dark color and has retained that like new deep black look like no other product I have ever used. If nothing else, this is an excellent "trim restore" product!Needless to say, I have already purchased another bottle. If you put in the work to apply this coating right, you will be agree that this is an amazing value!

So far, SO good
Seems like a winner so far. The collage shows the driver’s side of my black 2013 Ford Edge; top to bottom is after prep and before application, then 2 hours after application, and finally 26 hours after application. All three pictures were taken at 630p on their respective days to try to eliminate differences in conditions. It seems to have good shine and reflection, and application was a breeze.I should note that, as part of my prep, I applied a mirror polish 48 hours before the ceramic application. In my eyes it seems to have added some depth (like a traditional wax).I’ve found the best shine comes from a good quality carnauba wax, however that requires frequent reapplications. I had been using a hybrid synthetic with great results, though still I found myself waxing at least once a month. I’m optimistic having used this, however it’s performance and longevity remain to be seen. I’ll update after it’s been weathered.

Wow!
I was more than a bit skeptical and put off using this for a couple of months. I finally washed my car, dried it, and set about applying. As instructed I wrapped the white material around the sponge and applied a few drops. The idea that a few drops was adequate did not seem plausible after decades of wax on/wax off. But I did as described. Instructions contradict themselves .One place says to apply first one way then the other. Another says to swirl. Bottom line is it didn't seem to matter as long as the surface was totally covered. One place said once applied wait 1.5 minutes, another said 4-5 minutes. I decided longer was better. 5 minutes worked well with 5 minutes of application then going back where I started to wipe off. With a white car, my expectations were not high. But having owned over 50 cars over the decades requiring hundreds of waxings, this was the easiest to apply, easiest to remove, and gave the best results. My car is relatively new so I assumed it would be mostly a protectant. But it deepened the color and seems to have given it a glow. Don't waste money on a more expensive product. This is literally as good as it can get! I am one happy camper!

Looks good at first, but doesn't hold up or provide lasting protection
I applied this to the entire paint of my daily driver with the hope of achieving a very hard, highly durable paint protection. The application is a little tricky.. it doesn't drip well out of the bottle, and ends up getting all over the bottle and your fingers. It then hardens on the bottle top and it's really easy to get those bits of glassy hard stuff onto the microfiber cloth. You wouldn't want to rub those into the paint. No matter though, it's still doable, and after 12 hours or so, it looks great.Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have held up all that well. The car accumulated dirt and grime just the same as after a straight car wash or wash+ turtle wax, and the dirt doesn't seem to rinse off any more easily with this stuff. Furthermore, after about 2 months with this coating the car, the paint feels a little tacky and I can scratch into the coating with my fingernail. Certainly doesn't seem like a '9H' coating..My buddie swears by ceramic coatings (he bought McGee 37 or something like that) but I probably won't purchase from this company again..
