The only flea and tick medication that works for my German shepherd. Never has fleas, great price vs what I would pay at the vet. I buy the pill pocket treats and they fit snug in the hole. He takes it every time with no problem. He doesn’t get irritated or scratch. Works very well.

I received this in the mail just two days after ordering. It always works great and it dissolves in a little water. I add a little bit of wet food and the pets lap it up quickly. Starts to work in 15 minutes when I use it.

These are a life saver for us. I have never thought about reviewing them despite buying often. Simple to use and have never had an issue with any of our dogs. I would imagine these would be a good tool to use when trying to battle a flea issue, but for me it has always been a preventive measure after having to tackle a long battle years ago. I give my dog one of these as soon as we leave any place other dogs or animals have been such as a store or the vet office. That way any hitchhikers get taken out versus moving into our home. I learned about these years ago when I was part of a volunteer transport group to get shelter dogs to rescue groups or to fosters. The first leg of the trip would supply one of these pills to help out the entire trip and the dog with any fleas could be relieved. I have not had an issue in years and years and I think it is because of other tactics I use but this is the front of the battle line tool I use. Good price, easy to give, and it works as intended to control fleas. I have used on many different dogs and have never had an issue. I still use these when my senior dog goes to the vet.

I rarely ever write reviews (this is my 2nd one), however I feel like people should be warned when it comes to their pets. I wish I could give this one -100! For starters, it is NOT the same as Capstar, like I wrongly assumed & someone mentioned below. It’s not even a dupe, because at least that one actually works, and my dogs only have to take it once a week. My poor dogs are scratching & itching even WORSE than before I gave it to them. It’s as if they jumped in a pool of fleas or something, that’s how bad they’re scratching, itching, biting, and even whimpering now. I feel so bad for buying this and giving it to them.This is one item where the negative reviews are legit and definitely a warning. DON’T get this, it’s worth it to pay a little extra for Capstar or a better short term alternative, which is what I ended up doing because my poor dogs are too miserable to even eat now.The only reason I’m having to give them this is to hold them over short-term while I am waiting on the monthly prescription flea meds from the vet to arrive. My dogs were annoyed with the itching here & there before taking this, however now they’re just miserable afterwards. Instead of it working in 30 minutes, they’re intensely itching every 30 minutes or less for the entire day. I’ve never seen them respond to fleas like this at all until taking this. DO NOT BUY!!!

I’m a little disappointed in this product , it seemed to only work for about a week, and then the fleas were back. Seven dogs and I treated all the dogs at the same time and gave them all baths. A few weeks later, I started seeing fleas again I’m not sure if it takes a few months for the medicine to get into the system for it to work or not. Recently treated my yard, so maybe that will help.

Initial review:I’ll get right to it, I’m absolutely blown away. I’ve tried other flea products, topical & oral. Some kind of did the job, others not so much. I decided to try this brand and I’m so glad I did. After about an hour of ingestion I noticed my dog was scratching quite a bit, upon further inspection I started to see so many fleas coming to the surface to escape their imminent death! I decided to give my dog a thorough brushing to help catch the fleas and I couldn’t believe my eyes how many dead (and some half alive) fleas came out in the brush. Within another hour more dead fleas had fallen off on the couch, the floor, and the bed where he was laying. Gross but so satisfying to know this product works so well!!! Expect to do some laundry, change your sheets, and vaccum. 10/10 do recommend!! Hoping this keeps working for the 30 days as described.

I have two small house dogs, both around 12 lbs, and this is the only thing that gets rid of fleas. For others out there who think this is a bit expensive, as I do, here's my solution to that. I buy the large dog package. I take each pill and cut it into 4 pieces, first in half, then each half in half. I give a quarter to each dog every 36 hours. From my experience, I can go a bit longer than 24 hours with it, but not a full 48. The fleas will be back. So 8pm on Tuesday, then 8 am on Thursday. I hope that helps people on here. Fleas are something I absolutely can't stand, and this does the trick. The package lasts me around 15 days. I didn't figure it out exactly, but more that 12 days by giving it every 36 hours. Oh, and on a side note, I cut each pill into 6 pieces for cats. 6 cats a day or 3 every 15ish days, you get the idea. This is more expensive than the liquid on the neck, but those just do not work for me.
